Olga Plishko — Functional Nutritionist & Holistic Wellness Advisor

Functional nutritionist.
Systems thinker. Root-cause seeker.

Olga Plishko is a functional nutritionist and holistic wellness practitioner, Yoga Alliance–certified yoga instructor, and STOTT Pilates instructor with an MS in Integrative Nutrition from Bastyr University.

She partners with her clients to improve digestion, energy, metabolism, hormonal balance, blood sugar stability, immune function, and stress resilience — through an intelligent, personalized, root-cause-oriented approach that combines nutrition, movement, and lifestyle optimization.

Before immersing herself in wellness, Olga built a corporate career in engineering and management consulting, where she worked on complex systems, strategy, and operational optimization. Her engineering mindset shapes the way she approaches health today — looking at how the gut, hormones, metabolism, and nervous system influence one another, rather than treating symptoms in isolation.

Despite outward success, Olga knew something wasn't right. Even while doing all the right things, she dealt with chronic fatigue, bloating, unpredictable digestion, painful PMS, cysts and fibroids, hormonal acne, migraines, and eczema — symptoms that seemed unrelated but weren't. After going from one doctor to another without real solutions, she realized that conventional medicine was managing her symptoms, not looking for their root cause.

The decision to leave didn't happen overnight. While still in her corporate career, Olga had begun teaching yoga, Pilates, and wellness workshops across the US — watching people's lives shift through movement, food, and intentional living. She saw the same pattern everywhere: driven, high-achieving people who had built everything they always wanted, yet felt anything but well. She knew this was where she was meant to be. She left to earn her MS in Integrative Nutrition at Bastyr University, travelled through Southeast Asia and Latin America to deepen her understanding of healing food traditions, and fully devoted herself to this work — transforming her own health in the process.

Today, she brings that same approach to her clients.

Philosophy

There is a gap between what medicine can measure
and what your body is actually experiencing.

Labs come back normal. Doctors say you're fine. But you know you're not — and you have known for a long time. That gap is not in your head. It is in the questions being asked.

Conventional medicine excels at what it was designed for. Functional nutrition asks a different question entirely: why does someone with clean labs, a clear diagnosis, and a healthy lifestyle still not feel well? The two are not in opposition — they operate at different resolutions. One identifies what is wrong. The other explores why the system isn't functioning optimally, even when nothing is technically wrong.

That is where this work begins.

The Whole & Balanced Difference

Most approaches manage
symptoms. We address
root causes.

You don't need another generic protocol. You need an expert who sees the full picture of your biology, your lifestyle, and your goals — and stays with you through the process.

Whole & Balanced was created for ambitious women who have tried doing more — more supplements, more restriction, more research — and still don't feel their best. The problem was never effort. It was the absence of a truly personalized, root-cause approach.

Working with Olga means receiving intelligent, evidence-informed functional nutrition and wellness guidance tailored specifically to your body, your history, and your life.

Root Cause, Not Symptom Management

03

Systems Thinking

Olga's engineering background means she approaches health the way complex systems are approached — understanding how gut, hormones, metabolism, and nervous system all influence one another.

04

Sustainable by Design

Nutrition, movement, lifestyle, and mindset — integrated into a plan you can actually live. No extremes. No overwhelm. Just intelligent, lasting change.
